Anderson Island Parks and Recreation Forest Stewardship Committee
Beginning in 2025, the committee initiated a pilot project plan to assess the health of the AI Park forestland and strategically address identified issues. The objective is to thoroughly examine each park for both unique and common challenges to forest vitality. Findings will be presented to the Anderson Island Park and Recreation Department and disseminated to the community, along with actionable recommendations for forest land management, valuable information, expertise, and engaging events.
